Lindsay's Skyward Bald Cypress - 7g

Scientific name is Taxodium distichum 'Skyward' and is available in 7-gallon pots. The bald cypress is native to southeastern United States and is cultivated for its unique trait of being a decidous conifer with feathery foliage. This cultivar, 'Skyward' or Lindsey's Skyward™, is admired for its upright growth habit, almost vertical compared to the straight species, and less intrusive pneumatophors (knees). The plant is patented as 'Skyward' but later took on the trademark Lindsey's Skyward as a nod to the nurseryman who discovered and trialed the plant, Robert Lindsey. Mature size 20-25 H x 10-15 W grown in full sun with slightly acidic, loamy, organically high soils. Use this tree in the landscape as a specimen, areas with limited space, or somewhere you can admire the rusty orange fall color and beautiful branching structure through the winter.
