Scarlet Curls Willow - 7g

Scientific name is Salix matsudana 'Scarcuzam' and is 6 to 7 feet tall in a 7 gallon pot. Very nice looking. The Scarlet Curls® willow is native to eastern Asia and is cherished for its yellowish-brown undulating twigs, weeping habit, and curly leaves. This cultivar 'Scarcuzam' or Scarlet Curls® is noted for a rounded canopy that gently weeps to the ground with young twisting twigs appearing orange to red, hence Scarlet Curls. Mature size 20-25 H x 15-20 W grown with full sun in moist average soil. Use this tree in an already wet area of the landscape, near a pond, or along a drainage swale. It makes for an excellent specimen with interesting branching structure and foliage texture.
